From the structure it can be reached either by train, Pompei Villa dei Misteri stop, or by car. The park, in fact, has
a private parking.Spaccanapoli - A linear road that cuts through the ancient city from north to south. Two kilometers long, it is the
set of seven streets, along which you will cross centuries of history, culture, art and traditions of the city. It is
overlooked by many places of worship, such as the basilica of Santa Chiara and that of San Domenico Maggiore,
and several secular buildings, including the Palazzo Filomarino, residence of the philosopher Benedetto Croce.
Cappella San Severo - There is no place in Naples where the pre-eminence of art emerges as clearly as in the
Sansevero Chapel. The exceptionality of his works is universally recognized, and it could not be otherwise if we
think that masterpieces such as the Veiled Christ are preserved here.
Piazza del Plebiscito - Piazza del Plebiscito is the heart of the historic center, the living room in which to welcome
guests of the city. On it overlook, creating scenographic geometries, important buildings such as the Basilica of
San Francesco da Paola, the Prefecture, Palazzo Salerno, and Palazzo Reale.
Maschio Angioino - is a monumental construction dating back to the XIII century, a period in which the Angevins
themselves decided that the time had come to build a building that was not a simple fortress, but a real palace. Of
the ancient residence remain today the palatine chapel, the walls and some towers; visit the interiors and admire
extraordinary works by artists of great stature, including Mattia Preti and Battistello Caracciolo.
Castel dell’Ovo – is the oldest castle in Naples. The fortress stands on the islet of Megaride and takes its name
from an ancient legend according to which Virgil placed an egg in a cage in his basement.
Museo di Capodimonte - In the museum there are artworks of ancient and contemporary art, and it was also a
Bourbon royal residence, so do not miss the opportunity to visit the sumptuous environments such as the royal
apartment, the porcelain gallery, and the peculiar porcelain lounge.
San Gregorio Armeno - The street is famous all over the world mainly for its tradition of nativity scenes, since
here there are the famous craft shops that display the extraordinary figurines.
Complesso Museale di Santa Chiara - is a Gothic structure accompanied by a monastery with four cloisters,
archaeological excavations and rooms that house the Museum of the Opera.
Osservatorio astronomico - is a full-blown cultural institution, within which numerous educational events take
place, especially to discover the Museum of Ancient Instruments. This little jewel houses the precious
astronomical instrumentation used in the nineteenth century and numerous other objects from the Farnese
collection.
Stazione Toledo - In addition to allowing passengers to pass, this metro station enchants all visitors. The project
of the station is the work of the Spanish architect Oscar Tusquets and has inside passageways entirely covered
with tiles and two large mosaics by Kentridge depicting scenes of Neapolitan life.
Very suggestive also the "gallery of the sea" by Bob Wilson, with mosaics with marine motifs, and a beautiful
corridor depicting the faces of numerous citizens photographed by the great Oliviero Toscani.
You can reach Naples either by car or by Circumvesuviana, Napoli Centrale stop (Garibaldi).
Sorrento: The starting point will probably be Piazza Lauro, the most modern square. You can continue along
Corso Italia until you reach Piazza Tasso, the main square of Sorrento. At the center of the square is the statue of
Sant'Antonino, the protector of Sorrento, while on the left you will find that of Torquato Tasso, who was born in
Sorrento. Look also at the Vallone dei Mulini.
From Piazza Tasso continue your walk along Corso Italia, the shopping and walking street. Along the Corso stop
to visit the Cathedral of Sorrento, in Baroque style, dedicated to Saints Philip and James. Next to the cathedral
you will find "Via Santa Maria della Pietà", one of the oldest streets in Sorrento.
Go through the alleys, the historic center, then walk along Via San Cesareo until you meet the Sedil Dominova,
an ancient meeting point of the Sorrento nobles of the city and now home to the Mutual Aid Society. Absolutely
to visit is the cloister of San Francesco of 1300. Leaving the cloister, you will find the Villa Comunale which has
as a background the Sorrento coast and the Gulf of Naples with Vesuvius.
From the villa, on foot, you can reach the port area with the small beach of Marina Piccola and the bathing
establishments. Otherwise, from the villa, you can continue the walk to Piazza Vittoria, another panoramic point
and then there is the road that leads to the seaside village of Marina Grande.
Finally, we also recommend visiting the Correale Museum of Terranova with Greek, Roman finds, Capodimonte
porcelain, paintings of the Neapolitan school and a beautiful garden.
Sorrento is easily reachable both by car and by the Circumvesuviana, Sorrento stop.
Capri:We recommend visiting first the Blue Grotto, departing from Marina Grande. The ticket can be purchased directly
from the box office at the port. Then you can reach Anacapri by cable car or direct bus.
From Anacapri it is worth trying the chairlift to Monte Solaro, with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples and
Salerno. There is also the beautiful Villa San Michele, a house-museum of the Swedish writer Axel Munthe,
where there are archaeological finds collected by the doctor around the world and a terrace overlooking the
infinite. Absolutely visit the Piazzetta.
From there you can stroll along Via Caramelle, the shopping street. Continuing along Via Tragara, you will arrive
at the spectacular viewpoint overlooking the Faraglioni.
To reach Capri the only means of transport is by hydrofoil, from the port of Castellammare di Stabia or Sorrento.
All return times are available on the web.
Costiera Amalfitana:
The first town on the Coast that you will visit is also the most famous and picturesque.
Positano is a vertical cascade of pastel-colored houses in shades of pink and yellow that can be explored by
descending and climbing steep staircases and small streets adorned with plants and flowers. The most beautiful
view of Positano can be enjoyed from the Spiaggia Grande.
If you love sports, we also recommend the Path of the Gods, which starts from Bomerano. The trail is about 8 km
long and can be covered in 3-4 hours on average. Continuing along the road, you will find Praiano. The village is
characteristic for both the Gavitella and the Marina di Praia.
You can not miss, also, a stop at the Fiordo of Furore. Finally, we recommend you visit Amalfi, with its
characteristic square, the cathedral, and the Valle delle Ferriere where you can admire beautiful natural waterfalls.
Finally, visit Ravello with its two villas, Villa Cimbrone and Villa Rufolo.
The Coast can be reached by car, with the Sita Bus from Sorrento station or by hydrofoil from the port of Sorrento.Yes, our breakfast is a self-service buffet for food and cold drinks. Hot drinks can be ordered asking to waiters.
